Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lerai Dry Cleaner. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services, website, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services") operated by Lerai Dry Cleaner ("we," "us," or "our") located in Dodoma, Tanzania. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Description

Lerai Dry Cleaner provides professional dry cleaning, laundry, and garment care services. Our services include but are not limited to dry cleaning, stain removal, alterations, express service, specialty care, home textiles cleaning, and pickup & delivery options.

3. Service Acceptance

By submitting items for our services, you represent that:

• You are the legal owner of the items or authorized by the owner
• Items do not contain valuables or prohibited materials
• You have disclosed all known stains, defects, or special care requirements
• You accept the inherent risks of professional cleaning processes

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon delivery or pickup of your items. We accept cash, mobile money, and selected credit/debit cards. Prices for our services are listed in our locations and on our website, subject to change without notice.

5. Item Pickup and Delivery

You are responsible for picking up your items within 30 days after the completion date. Items not collected within 90 days may be donated or disposed of. For delivery services, we are not responsible for items delivered to the address provided by you in your absence.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take great care with your items, we cannot assume responsibility for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear
• Color loss or fabric damage due to improper manufacturing
• Damage revealed during the cleaning process
• Specialty items cleaned at customer's risk
• Lost or damaged buttons, belts, or removable ornaments

Our maximum liability is limited to 10 times the service fee for the item in question.

7. Claims Process

Any claims for lost or damaged items must be made within 48 hours of receiving your order. Claims must be submitted in person at our location with the original receipt and damaged item.

8. Order history in the app

Finished orders show in the app for 2 days after everything is settled (paid in full, every item handed over, and no open questions or refunds). After that, under LDC's policy, they're hidden from your order lists. You can still open them from notifications, chats and app search. We keep your order records as the law requires — ask us any time for a copy or a receipt.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
